James (Jim) Lane Koch
January 27, ~ March 31,

James (Jim) Lane Koch, age 62, went to be with the Lord on March 31, Jim was born on January 27, in Larned, KS to the late Robert (Bob) and Mary Koch. He graduated from Salina Central High in

During and after high school Jim worked at Key Mars Restaurant where he met his beloved wife Marje. She preceded him in death on September 13, They were married for 37 years.

Jim was a loving father to his daughter Darcy (Frank) Kelly, but most of all he loved being "Papa" to his only grandchild Emma Kelly.

Jim drove delivery trucks for several companies before beginning employment with Air Gas in filling gas tanks. His career ended as a Cryogenic Technician Bulk Gas Installation Specialist after 25 years with the company.

Jim is also survived by siblings Diane (Koch) Mannebach, Nada (Kennan) Ingalsbe, Robert "Bob" (Gena) Koch and Claudine (Jeff) Smit  and many nieces, nephews and revered friends.

A memorial service will be held June 8 at First Christian Church E Crawford, Salina KS, at p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Salina Area Food Bank.

James Robert Koch

James Robert Koch, 90, passed away on September 6, from complications of heart and kidney failure.  His final days were spent at home surrounded by his greatly loved family members.

Jim was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where he grew up as the only child of his widowed mother and was nurtured by a network of caring relatives.   When he was 15, he met “Kitty” (Lorraine), who was to become the love of his life.  Jim attended Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, was a member of the Naval ROTC, and Delta Upsilon fraternity.  The fraternity stories are best left untold!

In , Jim and Kit married in Pensacola and he began his Navy career as a naval aviator.  He became a flight instructor and was in command of large seaplanes such as the Marlin.  Jim enjoyed many overseas deployments where he developed a fondness for world cuisines and practiced his photography. His Kodachrome slides were later used in several of his oldest daughter’s school reports.

Jim and Kit started their family in and moved several times between Navy bases.  Jim left the Navy, worked briefly for Lockheed in California, then moved to Clearwater, Florida

Debra K. Koch, age 68, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 20, She was born to the late Victor and Emma (Stoddart) Koch on January 27, , in Oshkosh. She attended Oshkosh High school. She worked as a nursing assistant for most of her adult life at various locations throughout Oshkosh. She retired from Food Service at the University of was an avid Packers fan and had a big heart for animals and loved her family tremendously. She enjoyed listening to Country music, Oldies and especially Bob Seger.
Deb is survived by her sons, Joshua (Melissa) Huisman and Shanon (Kate) Holmes; grandson, Landin Huisman; brother, James (DeeAnn) Koch; sister, Vicki Grobe; as well as a sister-in-law, Barbara Koch in addition to many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her brother, John Koch; niece, Jamie Koch; and brother-in-law, Thomas Grobe.
A private memorial for Deb will be held at a later date wither her immediate family.
