In his congratulatory note, the President, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi, applauded the graduates for making it despite the extreme challenges they faced of the COVID pandemic. Dr Masisi said notwithstanding that their lives were disrupted “you demonstrated resilience and agility to come out of the pandemic stronger”. He encouraged the graduates to carry the same spirit to see to it that Botswana achieved its transformational agenda as espoused in Vision The President expressed confidence in their ability to make a difference in Batswana’s lives, noting that their active participation would, therefore, help in the realisation of the country’s national agenda to transform from a resource t
Tebelelo Seretse takes aim at the most glittering prize on offer
When she came back after a stint in Washington where she served as Botswanas Ambassador to the United States, Tebelelo Seretse swears that she could barely recognize the Botswana Democratic Party that she had left behind.
Once a formidable political juggernaut, the party is today almost in tatters, consumed, she says, by both inertia and arrogance.
There is a lot of work to be done to bring the party back to a state of a well oiled machine that it used to be.

Mr Lesaso said the five laid a foundation for the country that a transformational agenda could only be realized if education was tampered with production.
They did not see themselves as mere pupils but citizens conscious of their social responsibility to practically contribute to the national develop
